A visit to Boogarem Falls
In the early weeks of spring, Class 7C enjoyed a beautiful excursion to our local Boogarem Falls. The students explored the waterways and changing landscapes as they walked down to the top of the waterfall, where they played under the gentle tumbling waters, discovered a cave, and sat to write poetry and paint their surroundings. They were able to apply skills learned in their Poetry Main Lesson while enjoying time with peers outside of the school environment.
It was a grounding and wholesome experience for the class, setting the tone for a settled and harmonious week.

Life is a Waterfall by Lilah
Waterfall, the essence of life
Flowing through time, cutting like a knife
Crashes hard through twists and turns
This doesn’t break it, it just learns.
Forming pools of sacred memories
Leaving scars, but mainly sweet melodies
New water means fresh starts
A wash of our tired hearts.
Poem by Lucy
The horizon stretches out so vast
The water darts and trickles past
Like a ballerina twisting and turning
The sun’s rays constantly burning
Hopefully no one slips down the cliff face
The march flies are out and on the chase
I heard one of them is called Dave
Maybe his base is in the cave
