Year 10 Science

Year 10 have been undertaking a Main Lesson on Genetics and Biotechnology. We looked at some traditional biotechnology and put some techniques into practice by making kimchi, sauerkraut, dill pickles and coconut yogurt. The students learned about microbes, sterile technique, DNA replication and cell division and then got to eat the results of their experiments!
