Healing hands

During third term, a group of  Shearwater community members, both present and past, came together to begin the process of healing from the impacts of the COVID mandates, which saw the loss of many beloved staff and families from our School.

At the end of Term 3, students from classes who lost their teachers during this time took part in a day of planting, incorporating the ashes from the fire ceremony held earlier in the term as part of the healing process. We hope that our intention for healing, like these plants, will multiply, flourish and beautify our School with the promise of new life and new beginnings.
